Many thanks to all the players who entered this singles competition on what was an autumnal day with heavy rain the day before and some rain on the day.
A special thanks also to Margaret Liddell ( who also kept the author on the right path) and her team at Wilton for organising the day and to Pam Whittingham of Hunley who helped with the results.

Many thanks to Pam Whittingham and her team of volunteers, including the club professional, who organised well a busy day, even supplying biscuits for players to consume.
The weather was clear but windy, which gave it's own challenges.
Congratulations to all those players who entered, and also those teams who overcame all to put in some great scores.

We had a lovely warm dry day to make up for the last competition being cancelled.
Many thanks to Helen Fawcett and her wonderful team of helpers who welcomed everyone and to the kitchen staff for being open and supplying food and drinks all day.
Many players proclaimed what a great day they'd had and enjoyed going round a different, though hilly course.
